Oh, that Mr. Collins! When he arrived on the scene, it was as if Jane had added a peppery spice to her plot. Scenes with our obsequious Mr. Collins just seemed livelier and funnier. Jane is at her wittiest, satiric best when he and Mrs. Bennett speak.
